Impatient Chess is made by Millions of Monsters, Inc. By playing it at impatientchess.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not play.
The game
Impatient Chess is free to play. It is provided as is, and we may change it, add or remove parts of it, reset ratings or leaderboards when the rules change, or take it offline at any time. We do our best to keep it running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Your account and name
Your guest key lives in your browser, so clearing your browser's data can lose a guest account. Sign in with Google or Discord to keep it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Names are seen by other players. A name must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, and must not pretend to be another person. We may change a name, or remove an account, that breaks these terms.
Fair play
- Play your own games yourself. No bots, scripts, macros, automated play, outside help during a ranked match, or modified versions of the game.
- Do not use bugs to win, lose on purpose to move ratings, or play against your own second account.
- Do not harass other players, and do not try to break, overload or get around the game's servers or its limits.
We may reset the ratings of, hide from the leaderboard, or remove an account that breaks these rules.
Your games
Your results, ratings and replays of your matches may be shown to other players, as described in our privacy policy.
Ours
The game, its code, art, sounds and name belong to Millions of Monsters, Inc. You may share links, screenshots and videos of your games. You may not copy, sell or host the game itself.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Millions of Monsters, Inc. is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from playing the game or from it being unavailable, and the game comes with no warranties of any kind.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page and take effect when they are posted; playing after a change means you accept it.
